New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A great opportunity has emerged for young people seeking employment with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the country's only central bank. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released an official notification for recruitment to 11 different Junior Engineer (JE) positions.
The 11 JE posts for which RBI has invited applications include 7 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) and 4 posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical).
The online application process for the RBI positions began on Thursday, April 16, and the deadline is May 6. Eligible and interested candidates can visit the official website and submit their registration forms on or before the deadline.
Applicants must possess a 3-year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute, university, or board with a minimum of 65% marks. They must also meet the other eligibility criteria and have a minimum of 12 years of experience.
The minimum age limit for candidates is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years, which will be calculated as of April 1. Candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per rules.
Eligible candidates will be selected based on an online exam, a language proficiency test (LPT), a medical exam, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a starting salary between ₹47,700 and ₹91,309 per month, along with other benefits and allowances.
While filling the application form, candidates have to pay the prescribed application fee as per their category in online mode, which is Rs 450 plus 18% GST for General/OBC/EWS and Rs 50 plus 18% GST for SC/ST/PWD/Additional Category.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the RBI's official website. Upon reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Register and log in. Enter all the required information on the form. Upload all the required documents in the correct size. Pay the registration fee and submit the form. Finally, take a printout of the application form and save it for future reference.
