'Reliance Intelligence' Launched – Ambani Aims to Crown India as AI King

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): In the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries, Chairman Mukesh Ambani made a historic announcement and started a new chapter in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He announced the formation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance, 'Reliance Intelligence'. The sole and biggest goal of this company is to establish India as a global leader in the world of AI.
Addressing shareholders at the AGM, Mukesh Ambani said, I am proud that Artificial Intelligence is already transforming Reliance's deep-tech business. To give this agenda even more focus and momentum, today I am pleased and honoured to announce the formation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary called 'Reliance Intelligence'.
Mukesh Ambani said that this new company will mainly focus on four areas:
1. AI-Ready Green Data Center
The company will build gigawatt-scale data centers for AI training and processing across the country. These data centers will run completely on renewable energy (Green Energy). Construction work of these centers has already started in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
2. Global Partnerships
Reliance Intelligence will work closely with the world’s largest technology companies and open-source communities to develop reliable and secure AI systems for India.
3. AI services for every Indian
The company's goal will be to provide easy and reliable AI services to common people, small businessmen and large industries. Along with this, special AI-based solutions will be developed for areas of national importance like education, health and agriculture.
4. Connecting National and International Talent
Reliance Intelligence will create a platform where the best researchers, engineers and designers from across the world can work together and transform new ideas into innovations that will benefit India and the world.
