Top Global CEOs Meet PM Modi, Reaffirm Commitment to Invest and Expand in India

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Several top executives of leading global companies met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday in New Delhi. The leaders included Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S, and Cognizant India’s MD & Chairman Rajesh Nambiar.

After meeting PM Modi, Lip-Bu Tan shared on social platform ‘X’ that he had a detailed discussion with the Prime Minister on technology, computing, and India’s vast potential. He appreciated the government’s semiconductor design and manufacturing policy and said Intel remains committed to supporting India’s semiconductor mission.

PM Modi also met Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S and Cognizant India MD & Chairman Rajesh Nambiar. Cognizant wrote on X that the meeting focused on accelerating AI adoption and strengthening education and skill development to boost AI capabilities and productivity.

Ravi Kumar S, in a separate post, thanked PM Modi for an inspiring conversation about India’s AI-first roadmap, the need to speed up AI adoption across global enterprises, building AI capabilities through education and skill reforms, and enhancing productivity for inclusive development.

Earlier, Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella also met PM Modi. He posted on X that Microsoft is investing USD 17.5 billion, its largest-ever investment in Asia to support India’s ambitions by building the infrastructure, skills, and sovereign capabilities required for an AI-driven future.
