Zomato Shows Its Power! ₹52,000 Crore Gain in Just 2 Days as Blinkit Works Wonders
Mumbai(The Uttam Hindu): Zomato shares have surged over 21% in just two days, adding more than ₹52,000 crore to its market value. On Tuesday, the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹311.60, driven by stellar quarterly results and the explosive growth of its quick-commerce arm Blinkit, whose net order value jumped 127% YoY to ₹9,203 crore, even surpassing Zomato’s traditional food delivery business.
Brokerage firms like Nuvama and Jefferies praised Blinkit’s performance, calling it the new growth engine. With this rally, Zomato’s market cap has crossed ₹3 lakh crore, while the stock has delivered over 36% returns in the past year.
