Washington D.C. (The Uttam Hindu)– Protests broke out outside the US Consulate in Karachi after the recent US attack on Iran, leading to tensions in the region. Following the unrest, American conservative activist Laura Loomer demanded that the United States revoke visas and even green cards issued to Pakistani nationals. In a post on social media, she urged the US government to suspend visas for Pakistanis for an extended period and tagged US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

According to reports, demonstrations outside the consulate turned violent as protesters attempted to enter the heavily secured premises. Loomer claimed that several protesters were killed and many others injured during the clashes. She alleged that security personnel opened fire when demonstrators tried to breach the compound, although the exact number of casualties and details of the incident have not been officially confirmed.

Loomer also strongly criticized Pakistan, accusing it of encouraging extremism and hostility toward Americans and Indians. However, there has been no official response from the US State Department regarding her demand. Karachi, the country’s largest city and major economic centre, has witnessed similar protests in the past in response to US military actions.
