Punjab's AAP Government Sets Historic Benchmark with Free Health Insurance Cover of ₹10 Lakh: Arvind Kejriwal

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today lauded the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for its historic decision to provide free health insurance cover of ₹10 lakh to every family in the state.

Kejriwal said that Punjab has become the first state not only in India but across the world to ensure such comprehensive health coverage for its people. “This is a revolutionary step in the direction of providing quality healthcare to all citizens. Only an honest government can take such bold and pro-people decisions. In earlier times, public money was looted by leaders, but today, under AAP’s governance, every rupee that belongs to the people is spent on their welfare,” he added.

He congratulated the people of Punjab and appreciated CM Bhagwant Mann for turning AAP’s promise of people-centric governance into reality. “Whether it is free electricity, world-class schools, Mohalla Clinics, or now ₹10 lakh free health cover, this is how the pro-people government of the Aam Aadmi Party delivers,” Kejriwal said.
