Woman murdered in broad daylight in Chandigarh's Rose Garden; throat slit in the bathroom sparking outcry

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu) : Panic erupted in the Rose Garden when a woman's body was discovered in the garden's bathroom. According to reports, the woman had been strangled to death.

According to reports, on Saturday afternoon, a female tourist went to the bathroom in the Rose Garden Park in Sector 16. There, she found a woman lying unconscious. She was bleeding. A purse was also found near her. The woman at the scene was terrified and began screaming in fear. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

During police action, a blood-stained knife was recovered from the scene. Efforts are underway to identify the woman and determine the motive behind the murder. The case is also being linked to a love affair. Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and immediately called in a forensic team. The team collected blood samples, the knife, and other important evidence from inside the bathroom. Fingerprints were also taken from the surrounding area. The entire bathroom has been sealed from all sides for investigation. Furthermore, all CCTV cameras installed around the Rose Garden are also being examined.
