Delhi on Alert: 20 Colleges Receive Bomb Threats, Police Teams Deployed

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Around 20 colleges including Jesus and Mary College located in Chanakyapuri area of the capital Delhi have received bomb threats through e-mail. After this threat, there was a stir in all the colleges and the administration immediately informed the police about it. As soon as the threat was received, Delhi Police started investigation. Initial investigation found that this threat is fake. According to the police, the person who sent the e-mail had used VPN to hide his identity. However, caution is being taken regarding the matter and the investigation is still going on.

20 colleges in Delhi received bomb threats, panic ensued; police engaged in investigation : Earlier also many schools in Delhi have received similar threats. Every time these threats have been found to be fake in the investigation, but till now the police has not been able to reach those who are spreading such rumours. This has raised questions about the security system in the capital. Currently, the police along with the cyber crime unit is searching for the person who sent the e-mail.
