New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Delhi Assembly has once again received a threatening email, which claims that 15 RDX bombs filled with cyanide gas will be detonated within three hours. Security agencies were immediately alerted by the threat.

The email also contained highly offensive and inflammatory statements. It demanded that all Muslim employees be immediately removed from the premises. It also stated, “No Brahmin should join the DMK.”

The email, naming SV Shekhar, claimed that the Assembly would be targeted because of his joining the DMK and described him as a "BJP Brahmin agent." Earlier, on March 25th, the Assembly had received a bomb threat. At that time, Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta informed the House that the Speaker's office had received an email claiming that 16 RDX IEDs had been planted.

Taking the threat very seriously, the police were immediately informed. The Delhi Police bomb squad arrived at the scene and thoroughly searched the entire Assembly complex. The investigation is currently underway, and security has been tightened. The Assembly Speaker stated that this matter must be investigated from every angle, as there is a possibility of terrorist and anti-national forces being involved. He also indicated that such forces are receiving support from elsewhere, which is crucial to uncover. Due to the continued threats, security agencies are on high alert and the matter is being investigated seriously.
