New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Police has made a sensational disclosure in the case of attack on Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Investigation has revealed that the accused had planned to attack the Chief Minister with a knife. It has come to light that one of his friends was also involved in this conspiracy, who has been arrested by Delhi Police from Rajkot, Gujarat.

Taking action, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested the main accused Rajesh's friend Tahseen from Rajkot. According to the police, Tahseen was in constant touch with Rajesh and he had also provided money to Rajesh to carry out the attack. After the arrest, Tahseen has been brought to Delhi for interrogation, where he is being questioned about the layers of the conspiracy.

According to police sources, accused Rajesh had also gone to the Supreme Court before reaching the Chief Minister's residence, but he could not succeed in his plans due to the tight security there. After this, he reached the Chief Minister's residence in Shalimar Bagh. His plan was to attack with a knife, but seeing the alertness of security personnel near the CM's residence, he got nervous and threw the knife in the Civil Line area and later tried to attack the Chief Minister during the public hearing.

Let us tell you that a few days ago, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was attacked during a public hearing, after which the security personnel caught the main accused Rajesh from the spot itself. The Chief Minister is completely safe in this attack and she did not suffer any serious injury.
