Bhopal (The Uttam Hindu): In Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district, BJP MP Ganesh Singh lost his temper and slapped a worker after a hydraulic crane malfunctioned during an event organized on Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary. The incident took place while the MP was garlanding Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue, and the video has now gone viral on social media.

According to reports, a “Run for Unity” program was held at Simariya Chowk in Satna to mark Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary, where MP Ganesh Singh was present. He used a hydraulic crane to garland Ambedkar’s statue. However, while descending from the hydraulic platform, the machine suddenly malfunctioned, causing a jolt.

Angered by the technical issue, MP Singh called the worker operating the crane, pulled his hand, and slapped him in front of everyone. The entire incident was captured on video, which has now spread widely across social media platforms.

In the viral video, Ganesh Singh can be seen seated in the hydraulic box that gets stuck midway while lowering, causing a visible jerk. Moments later, the MP appears visibly angry and strikes the worker.

The Congress party has released the video, criticizing the BJP leader’s behavior. “This is the arrogance and pride of the BJP,” the Congress alleged, adding that the incident exposed the party’s attitude towards common workers. The event has sparked political controversy in the state. Meanwhile, no statement has yet been issued by MP Ganesh Singh regarding the incident.
