New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): The main attraction of the ‘Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang’ programme was a nearly 10-kilometre-long canvas on which thousands of young people and artists expressed their creativity under the theme of ‘Viksit Bharat’. Artists from Delhi and across the country used their imagination to present a vision of India as self-reliant, empowered, and advancing to become a global leader.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Mrs Rekha Gupta said that the name ‘Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang’ (Colours of a Developed India, Along with Art) is as beautiful as the event itself. Thousands of young participants have painted the picture of India’s future on this white canvas, which is not merely an artistic display but a symbol of the dreams of a new India. The Chief Minister said that the responsibility of building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ truly lies with the youth - the kind of India and the kind of future they wish to shape. Through this initiative, the effort to connect the Sewa Pakhwada (service fortnight) with every citizen has been both praiseworthy and historic.

Chief Minister Mrs Rekha Gupta remarked that this country does not belong to any one individual, but to all 140 crore Indians. Therefore, how we shape it and in which direction we take it in the future is our collective responsibility. She added that the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, through his exceptional leadership and tireless efforts, has given India a new identity on the global stage. Today, India has emerged as a strong, self-assured nation willing to contribute to global cooperation.

The Chief Minister also emphasised that the Prime Minister’s efforts alone are not enough. Unless every citizen recognises and fulfils their role, the dreams of India cannot be realised. Inspiring the youth, she underlined that building a self-reliant India and an India that aspires to be a world leader is possible only with their active participation.

She further urged the younger generation to make meaningful contributions to the nation through small actions in their daily lives - whether by participating in cleanliness drives, taking steps towards greenery and environmental conservation, assisting the needy and underprivileged, observing traffic rules, or engaging in social service. She noted that such small yet significant actions, when taken collectively, will elevate the nation’s progress and pride to even greater heights.
