To achieve this, new and modern hospitals are being built, existing hospitals are being upgraded, and the availability of specialist doctors is being increased. The government’s objective is to ensure that every citizen of Delhi receives timely, high-quality and affordable healthcare services. The Chief Minister made these remarks on Friday during the inauguration of NovaNeo Hospital in Budh Vihar Phase-1. A key speciality of this hospital is the treatment and care of newborn infants. The Chief Minister inspected the hospital premises, reviewing various wards, diagnostic departments and specialised medical units. She also interacted with doctors and medical staff to obtain detailed information about the available healthcare facilities, modern medical equipment, and services provided to patients.
Extending her best wishes to the hospital management, the Chief Minister expressed hope that NovaNeo Hospital would set a new benchmark in service, sensitivity and excellence in medical care, and make a strong contribution towards providing better healthcare facilities to the people of Delhi.
The chief minister added that the Delhi Government is fully committed to expanding world-class healthcare services in the capital. Along with government initiatives, healthcare services are also being strengthened through public–private partnerships (PPP) to ensure positive and effective outcomes.
