New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): Delhi Chief Minister Mrs Rekha Gupta urged the youth that whenever we witness the plundering of culture, or see civilisation and values being eroded, it becomes our duty to raise our voices. As followers of Lord Krishna, we must show the same courage, the strength to call out wrongs, no matter how powerful the wrongdoer may be. If each of us contributes, even in small ways, to the nation and society, change is inevitable. The Chief Minister expressed these views at the Content Creators’ Summit organised by ISKCON, which focused on Indian culture, tourism, and wellness.

More than 500 content creators participated in the summit. On this occasion, the Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Mr Bhupender Yadav, attended as the Chief Guest. Delhi Government’s Minister for Tourism and Culture, Mr Kapil Mishra, along with other dignitaries, was also present. Addressing the youth, the Chief Minister said that the youth brigade must continue to grow, for the nation needs them now. “It is not acceptable that someone points fingers at our country and we remain silent. The time has come to respond,” she declared.

She further emphasised that today is the time for youth to become warriors for the nation. This battle, whether fought through mobile phones and computers, is just as important as the one fought with weapons on the border. “Whenever we see culture being undermined, or civilisation and values being erased, we must raise our voices. As followers of Lord Krishna, we must show the courage to call out wrongs, no matter how powerful the wrongdoer may be. If each of us begins to contribute, even in small ways, to the nation and society, change is certain,” she added.

Delhi’s Minister for Tourism and Culture, Mr Kapil Mishra, said the aim of this event is to connect youth with the nation, religion, and culture. Especially those young voices that are powerful and heard across the world bringing them together and guiding them in the right direction is the need of the hour. He added that such events send a strong message about the essential role of youth in advancing culture, spirituality, and national interest. Only when the new generation embraces these values will the dream of a developed India be realised.

On this occasion, ISKCON announced that a Mega Youth Event will be organised in Delhi on 12 October, with around 15,000 young participants. This event will be dedicated to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Drug-Free India’ campaign and the ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) initiative. The purpose of this initiative is to present Delhi as a city where every citizen and visitor can not only see Indian culture, but also live and experience it in its essence.
