New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Crime incidents continue to rise in the national capital. A man was brutally stabbed to death in the Kalyanpuri area of East Delhi, creating panic in the locality. The police have taken the body into custody, sent it for post-mortem, and registered a case to begin the investigation.

According to the police, a patrolling team late Wednesday night found a man lying in a pool of blood near a public toilet in one of the blocks of Kalyanpuri. The injured man was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Mukesh, around 40 years old. Police records reveal that several cases were previously registered against him at the Kalyanpuri police station. After the incident, fear has gripped the local residents, while the victim’s family is in deep shock.

Mukesh’s wife, Monika, said that he worked as a security guard. He had dinner at home and left around 10 pm. Later, the family was informed that he was found seriously injured near the toilet in Kalyanpuri Block 18 around 11 pm and was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

A relative of the deceased stated that they were informed Mukesh had been stabbed and rushed to the hospital, but he could not survive. The family has demanded strict legal action against those responsible.

So far, the motive behind the murder remains unclear, and no details about the attackers have emerged. Delhi Police have registered a case and are continuing further investigation into the matter.
