New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In Delhi’s Vasant Vihar area, Deepti Chaurasia (40), the daughter-in-law of Kamal Kishore, the owner of Kamla Pasand and Rajshree pan masala brands, died by suicide. Her body was found hanging inside the house with a dupatta. According to information, Deepti had been facing domestic issues with her husband, Harpreet Chaurasia. The couple married in 2010 and have a 14-year-old son.

Police recovered a suicide note from the spot. In the note, Deepti did not blame anyone but wrote emotional lines about love and trust. It read: “If there is no love and no trust in a relationship, then what is the reason to stay and live in that relationship?”

Police are currently investigating the case and recording statements from family members. Initial findings suggest it is a suicide, but officers are also trying to understand whether Deepti was under mental stress or dealing with any other difficulties.
