New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The explosion that rocked India’s capital on Monday claimed 10 lives and injured 24 others. Following the blast, national security agencies have launched extensive raids to track down all those involved. It has come to light that Dr. Shaheen Shahid, who was arrested shortly before the incident, made several key revelations during interrogation.
According to investigation agencies, Dr. Shaheen Shahid, a leading member of the Jaish-e-Mohammed’s female wing, had been accumulating explosive materials for the past two years. During questioning, she reportedly confessed to plotting a major terror attack in India with her associates. Shaheen revealed that whenever she met Dr. Umar, he often discussed launching terror strikes across the country. Together with Muzammil and Adil, she had been gathering explosives like ammonium nitrate for the past two years all under the instructions of Jaish-e-Mohammed handlers.
Around 6:52 PM on Monday, a powerful explosion occurred near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station. CCTV footage shows a white i20 car driven by a masked man, identified as Umar Nabi from Kashmir. Following the blast, Al-Falah University in Faridabad has come under scrutiny, with 13 people including seven doctors taken into custody for questioning.
