Delhi encounter: 4 criminals shot and injured in Nangloi and Mehrauli areas

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Last night, encounters broke out between police and criminals in two different areas of the capital Delhi. Four criminals were injured in these clashes in Mehrauli and Nangloi, while bullets also hit the bulletproof jackets of policemen. The injured accused already have several serious cases registered against them, such as firing on police and robbery. Three criminals were injured in Nangloi, while in Mehrauli, a wanted criminal was caught by the police after an encounter.

The accused opened fire on the police to escape arrest, in response to which the police also had to open fire. During this, bullets hit the bulletproof jackets of two policemen and a constable got injured in the hand. The police immediately admitted the injured accused to the hospital, where his condition is now said to be stable. Koku Pahariya has cases registered against him in arms smuggling and several other criminal cases.
