Delhi on high alert after Jaish-e-Mohammed threatens CRPF schools and courts with bombings

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Security agencies in Delhi were thrown into a tizzy on Tuesday when they received bomb threats against two CRPF schools and two district courts. The threat was sent via email, which reportedly named the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. Upon receiving the information, the Delhi Police, bomb squad, and dog squad responded, but no suspicious objects were found.
According to reports, these threatening emails were sent on Tuesday to the CRPF Public School in Dwarka and the CRPF School in Prashant Vihar. The emails also called for targeting the Saket Court and Rohini Court complexes.
Upon receiving the information, teams from Delhi Police, CRPF officers, bomb squads, and dog squads immediately arrived at all four locations. As a precaution, the schools were evacuated and the entire campus was thoroughly searched.
Police said that during the detailed search of both the schools, no explosive material or suspicious object was found.
Meanwhile, security was also tightened at the Saket Court and Rohini Court complexes following reports of threats. Police conducted intensive searches at both locations, increasing checking and area domination, but no suspicious material was found there either.
According to police sources, the threatening email was sent in the name of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. Security agencies are on high alert following this information. A senior Delhi Police official stated that all locations have been declared safe for now.
The cyber cell is investigating the matter and efforts are being made to identify the sender of the email to ascertain whether the threat was genuine or a prank.
