New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Councillors are getting increasingly disillusioned with the Aam Aadmi Party. Meanwhile, Bobby, the only transgender councillor of AAP in Delhi, has also broken ties with the party and joined the Indraprastha Vikas Party along with 15 disgruntled councillors.

Giving the reason behind leaving AAP, he said that we are not heard in the House. We are not given enough time to raise issues related to the public. Now in such a situation, with what face will we go among the public.

He said that we had promised the public that when we become councillors, we will do all their work. We will work to fix the sewer. We will beautify the parks. We will ensure that the people of the area do not face any kind of problem. But, we were not given any budget for all these works. In such a situation, it is natural to ask how we will do these works. It is very clear that in such a situation we will not be able to do any work in the interest of the public.

He further said that if we had got the budget, we would have definitely been able to work for the public. But, we did not get any such facility while being in Aam Aadmi Party. Seeing this, we left this party and joined Indraprastha Vikas Party.

Bobby further said that we will undoubtedly fulfill all the promises we made to the public while being in Indraprastha Vikas Party at any cost. We will not compromise with the interests of the public in any way.

Let us tell you that Bobby had succeeded in becoming the first transgender councilor of Delhi by winning the 2022 municipal elections. But, after a few days, news started coming that she was unhappy with the party on many issues, but this could never be confirmed. Now the way she has resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the Indraprastha Vikas Party, her displeasure with the Aam Aadmi Party has been confirmed.
