New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident has come to light from Brijghat in Garhmukteshwar, Uttar Pradesh, where two youths arrived to perform a fake cremation. They arranged the funeral pyre, placed the wood, and began preparing for the rituals. However, their entire plan collapsed when an alert man noticed something suspicious.

A Plastic Dummy Found Under the Shroud

According to eyewitnesses, the two youths drove to the ghat in a car and began preparing the pyre with full seriousness. They placed a ‘body’ wrapped in a shroud on the pyre and were about to start the final rites when a person nearby grew suspicious. He lifted the shroud and discovered that it was not a human body but a plastic dummy.

Locals Catch Them and Hand Them to Police

The moment the truth was revealed, people gathered at the spot and caught both youths. Police were informed immediately. Officers reached the scene and took the two individuals into custody for questioning.

A Cover-Up Attempt or a Bigger Criminal Plot?

Police are treating the case seriously. Initial investigation suggests that the two youths might have been trying to show someone as “dead” to protect them from legal action or were involved in a larger criminal plan.
