Horrific crime in Delhi: Relative beheads woman with an axe
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A horrific incident rocked the Khyala area of the capital, Delhi on Tuesday morning. A man crossed all limits of brutality and murdered his own relative by slitting her throat with an axe. The attack was so brutal that the woman's head was severed from her body. The accused also attacked and seriously injured two other women who came to intervene.
According to the police, this horrific incident occurred around 8 a.m. on Tuesday in the Khyala area. The accused has been identified as Babbu Khan, a relative of the victim's family. It is being reported that the accused had been arguing with the family over some issue. Due to this dispute, Babbu Khan arrived home on Tuesday morning armed with a weapon (a chopper).
He attacked Nusrat, a 50-year-old woman on the ground floor with such force that the blow severed her neck from her body, killing her instantly.
When Nusrat's relative, Akbari, heard the screams and ran to her rescue, the accused attacked her as well, seriously injuring her. He then attacked 20-year-old Sania, who was also in the house and severed her finger.
Hearing the commotion in the house, other family members gathered and with great difficulty subdued the accused, Babbu Khan. They locked him in the bathroom and immediately informed the police. Police arrived at the scene and arrested the accused.
The injured women have been admitted to a hospital and are undergoing treatment. The incident has created an atmosphere of panic and fear in the area. Police have sent the bodies for a postmortem examination and have launched an investigation.
