Noida (The Uttam Hindu): Chief Executive Officer Dr. Lokesh M. conducted an inspection of Noida’s maintenance and cleanliness arrangements across various areas of the city. During the visit, senior officials including A.K. Arora (General Manager, Civil), Vijay Rawal (Deputy General Manager, Civil), senior managers from Work Circles 1, 2, 3, and 6, and the Project Engineer from Public Health Department-2 were present.

The CEO inspected several locations, including Udyog Marg, M.P.-1 Road, M.P.-2 Road, D.S.C. Road, Zonal Road No. 6 and 8, and areas around Sectors 8, 9, 11, 75, 76, and 77, as well as the road in front of Kailash Hospital.

During the inspection, Dr. Lokesh identified several shortcomings and issued directions for immediate corrective action. It was noted that road repair patches made at various points were not leveled properly with the road surface. The CEO instructed that all future patch repairs must be done at the same level as the existing road.

Additionally, weep holes on many roads were found blocked, for which the Public Health Department was directed to ensure cleaning and restoration. In Sector 1, sewage discharge was observed flowing into a drain from an industrial plot. The CEO directed the Senior Manager of Work Circle-1 to issue a notice to the concerned industrial unit. He also instructed similar action for other areas where violations were detected.

The CEO emphasized maintaining clean and safe roads, functional drainage systems, and strict action against violations to ensure a hygienic urban environment across Noida.
