Massive fire breaks out at Thrissur railway station in Kerala, 200 vehicles reduced to ashes, watch video

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Panic erupted on Sunday at the Thrissur railway station in Kerala after a massive fire broke out in the two-wheeler parking area near platform number 2. The blaze destroyed more than 200 motorcycles and scooters, causing widespread alarm among passengers and nearby residents.
Within minutes, flames spread rapidly across the parking zone and engulfed dozens of parked vehicles. Reports suggest that the parking area usually accommodates over 500 two-wheelers daily, raising concerns that the overall damage could be even higher. Officials believe that fuel present in the parked vehicles helped the fire spread quickly and intensified its impact, leaving vehicle owners with no time to react.
