Noida (The Uttam Hindu): The weather in Delhi-NCR is set to change again, with the Meteorological Department issuing a yellow alert for 6 October. Officials predict that the day may bring rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms, leading to a drop in temperature and offering relief from the humid heat.

According to the weather department, 4 and 5 October will see partly cloudy skies. On 5 October, some areas may experience thunderstorms and rain, but no major alert has been issued. Conditions are expected to worsen on 6 October, with light to moderate rain beginning in the morning and continuing intermittently throughout the day. Strong winds at 30-40 km/h and lightning are also possible.


The department warns that rain and thunderstorms may occur at different times during the day on 6 October. The maximum temperature on 6 and 7 October is expected to reach 32°C, with minimums around 23-24°C, and humidity could rise up to 90%. On 7 October, the NCR is likely to remain cloudy with a chance of moderate rain.
