NDMC to organize “Winter Rose Show” at India-Africa Friendship Rose Garden, Chanakyapuri
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), in association with the Rose Society of India, will organize the annual Winter Rose Show on 20th and 21st December, 2025 at the India–Africa Friendship Rose Garden, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
The show will be inaugurated on 20th December, 2025, and prizes will be awarded to the best exhibits during the prize distribution ceremony on 21st December, 2025. The visitors can visit & enjoy the show from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM on 20th December and from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on 21st December, 2025.
A large number of participants from various organizations such as NDMC, PGI Chandigarh, IARI–PUSA etc. will take part in the show by exhibiting their best display of roses in different classes.
The main attractions in show will be include different type of roses which include Hybrid Tea, Floribunda, Miniature, Polyantha, and other varieties. In addition to this, a painting competition for students of NDMC schools, display of value-added rose products, artistic bouquets, garlands, and Ikebana arrangements will also form part of the event.
The Winter Rose Show will be a visual delight for visitors, offering an opportunity to witness a wide range of rose varieties competing in both vases and pots. The event will also provide a refreshing and stress-relieving experience, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of the rose garden and enjoy the magnificent blooms.
