New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Marking the completion of one year of the BJP-led Delhi Government, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the historic Marghat Wale Hanuman Temple in Yamuna Bazar on Friday to offer prayers. She sought blessings for the health, prosperity and well-being of Delhi’s residents, and for the realisation of the vision of a ‘Viksit Delhi’. Following traditional rituals, she prayed for the city’s continued progress, the effective implementation of government schemes, and lasting peace and harmony among citizens.

Cabinet Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh was also present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the government, formed through the power of every single vote and the trust of Delhi’s people, is guided not by the privileges of office but by an unwavering commitment to public service.

Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she credited his leadership and guidance for enabling the government to work relentlessly over the past year. She said the administration has focused on public welfare and has worked to inject new momentum into Delhi’s development journey. According to her, the first year in office has not only delivered key achievements but has also laid the foundation for a new governance culture rooted in transparency, accountability and dedication.

The Chief Minister further stated that her visit to the temple filled her with renewed energy and resolve. With divine blessings, she said, the government has taken several landmark decisions in its first year and will continue to serve the people with the same dedication in the years ahead.

Describing the anniversary as the beginning of a new chapter for Delhi, she affirmed that the goal of transforming the city into a world-class capital will be pursued with even greater determination. Reiterating her gratitude to the citizens, she emphasised that their trust remains her greatest strength and that the government will steadfastly continue on the path of service.
