Rajasthan government transfers 65 IAS officers, appoints new OSDs in CM office and reshuffles key administrative positions across districts.

Jaipur (The Uttam Hindu): The Rajasthan government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle by transferring 65 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The list issued by the Department of Personnel includes changes in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), key departments, and district collectors across 25 districts.
New appointments in CM office
To strengthen the Chief Minister’s Office, three new Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) have been appointed. Riya Dabi, CEO of Udaipur Zila Parishad, has been appointed as OSD to the Chief Minister.
Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni has been appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister and Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department. Among young officers, Riya Dabi, Rajat Yadav, Akshat Singh, and Garima Narula have been posted as OSDs, while Utsav Kaushal has been made Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Arvind Kumar Poswal, who was serving as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been appointed as Commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board.
Key departmental postings
Several important appointments have been made to ensure effective implementation of major schemes. Dr. Jogaram has been given charge of the Panchayati Raj Department along with Director of the National Health Mission.
Rajan Vishal has been appointed Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission. In the energy sector, Nakate Shivprasad Madan has been made Managing Director (Energy Development), while Suresh Ola has been appointed Managing Director of RIICO.
In the education sector, Dr. Rashmi Sharma has been appointed Director of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
Major changes at district level
Significant changes have also been made at the district level. Sandesh Nayak has been appointed District Collector of Jaipur, Alok Ranjan in Jodhpur, and Gaurav Agarwal in Udaipur.
Nishant Jain has been appointed as the new Collector of Bikaner and has also been given additional charge as Chairman of the Bikaner Development Authority.
Notably, Tina Dabi has been transferred from Barmer and appointed as the Collector of Tonk, while Anupama Jorwal has been made Collector of Jaisalmer.
Additionally, Kanhaiyalal Swami has been appointed Divisional Commissioner of Jodhpur, Arvind Kumar Poswal as Commissioner of Rajasthan Housing Board, and Omprakash Kasera as Commissioner of Jaipur Municipal Corporation.
