New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic fire incident in Delhi claimed the lives of three members of the same family. The fire broke out in DMRC residential quarters located in the Adarsh Nagar area near Majlis Park Metro Station. A husband, his wife, and their 10-year-old daughter lost their lives after being trapped in the blaze.

According to the fire department, information about the fire was received at around 2:39 am. Six fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot to control the flames. The fire had erupted on the fifth floor of the residential building.

When fire personnel entered the flat after dousing the flames, three bodies were recovered from inside. The deceased were identified as Ajay (42), his wife Neelam (38), and their daughter Janhvi (10).

Police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem examination. A detailed investigation has been initiated to determine the exact cause of the fire. Authorities are examining all possible angles related to the incident.
