Warning for kite flyers! Government bans Chinese kite string in this state, death cases to be treated as murder

Lucknow (The Uttam Hindu): The Uttar Pradesh government has imposed a complete ban on Chinese kite string (Chinese manjha) across the state. Taking serious note of repeated accidents and loss of lives, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered a total prohibition on the use, sale, and storage of Chinese manjha in Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Minister has directed police officials to launch intensive raids across the state to stop the sale and availability of banned kite strings. He has made it clear that no negligence will be tolerated in enforcing this order and strict action must be taken against violators.

CM Yogi further stated that if any person dies due to the use of Chinese manjha, the case will be registered under charges of murder, and the accused will face severe legal action. He has also instructed senior officers to regularly review the statewide enforcement drive to ensure the ban is implemented effectively and without lapses.
