Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi's family was allegedly attacked, leaving his elder brother seriously injured and referred to Patna.
Gopalganj (The Uttam Hindu): The elder brother of Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi, Bijendra Nath Tiwari, was seriously injured after an alleged attack by assailants in Belsand village under the Madhopur police station area of Bihar's Gopalganj district. The incident has created tension among local residents.
According to preliminary police investigations, the attack is suspected to be linked to an old personal dispute. The accused allegedly attacked Bijendra Nath Tiwari with sharp weapons, causing serious injuries. He was initially admitted to a local hospital and later referred to Patna for advanced medical treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter and formed a special team under the supervision of senior officials to arrest the accused. Raids are being conducted at various locations and authorities have assured strict action against those found involved in the incident.
