Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): The Hindi film industry often debates the issue of nepotism versus outsiders. Actor Harshvardhan Rane has now shared his opinion on this issue on social media.

In fact, a YouTuber recently shared a video citing Ananya Panday, Ahaan Panday, and Janhvi Kapoor as examples. It suggested that nepotism kids are taking over Bollywood. Harshvardhan Rane shared his opinion on the social media platform Instagram, sharing a clip of this video.

Harshvardhan revealed that seven out of the top 10 stars in Bollywood are outsiders right now. The "Sanam Teri Kasam" actor wrote on his official Instagram handle, "There's another way to look at it. I tell myself three times a day that seven out of the top 10 stars are outsiders."

After this he also shared a list.

1. Shah Rukh Khan, 2. Akshay Kumar, 3. John Abraham, 4. Kartik Aaryan, 5. Ayushmann Khurrana, 6. Rajkummar Rao

At number seven, he tagged YouTuber Anmol Jamwal, adding that he is a big fan of his unbiased approach to the film industry.

Agreeing with Harshvardhan, one person wrote in the comments section, "That's absolutely true, but posting and talking about such things won't make you a hero. You're better than this, we know that. You should focus on yourself and making good films. The audience knows what's best, so you shouldn't worry about it."

Another social media user wrote, "I truly admire Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpayee, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao and of course yours truly. Outsiders have proven their worth in Bollywood every time they've had the chance."

At the same time, some people also seemed to disagree with Harshvardhan and commented that new people get very few opportunities in Bollywood.

On the work front, Harshvardhan Rane will soon be seen in the film "Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat," a romantic drama film directed by Milap Zaveri and co-produced by Raghav Sharma. Originally scheduled for release on October 2nd, the film was later postponed. It will now release on October 21st. The film will mark the first time Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa are seen together on the big screen.
