Veteran actor Dharmendra's estate: A look at his assets worth crores
Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Veteran Bollywood actor and 'He-Man' famous Dharm Singh Deol i.e. Dharmendra is no more among us. The entire film industry is in mourning with the news of his demise. All the members of the Deol family and many big personalities of Bollywood have reached Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai to bid him a final farewell. A huge crowd and police force is deployed outside the crematorium. Police say that only the Deol family will give any official information about Dharmendra's condition. At present, no official statement has come from sons Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol or any other family member.
Dharmendra was richer than his MP wife Dharmendra was known not only for his films but also for his grandeur. According to the election affidavit filed by his wife and MP Hema Malini in the year 2024, Dharmendra was ahead of Hema Malini in terms of assets. According to the affidavit data, Dharmendra's total wealth was estimated at more than Rs 153 crore, while Hema Malini's total assets were around Rs 125 crore.

Additionally, he had deposits of ₹3.52 crore in banks and financial institutions. Dharmendra also invested wisely in the stock market, holding ₹4.55 crore in bonds, debentures, and company shares. The affidavit also reveals that Hema Malini was a jewelry enthusiast, possessing jewelry worth over ₹1 crore.
Dharmendra's real estate holdings include a palatial bungalow in Juhu worth ₹126 crore. Documents indicate that he owns a palatial bungalow in Mumbai's Juhu area, valued at ₹126 crore in 2024. Its market value is likely even higher today. He also owns non-agricultural land worth over ₹9.36 crore.
Overall, Dharmendra left behind a vast empire worth crores, along with his powerful acting. His movable assets alone were valued at over ₹17.15 crore, significantly exceeding his wife's movable assets (₹12 crore).
