Sexual Harassment Allegation Against Actor by Haryana Artist; FIR Lodged

Ghaziabad (The Uttam Hindu): An artist from the Haryanvi film industry has accused actor Uttar Kumar of sexual harassment and fraud. In a complaint filed at Ghaziabad's Shalimar Garden police station on June 24, it was claimed that Uttar Kumar trapped her by making false promises of a film role and marriage.

The 25-year-old artist lives in Sector-53 area of ​​Noida. She has lodged a complaint in the police station through a lawyer. The complaint states that in 2020, the actor called her to his office in Ghaziabad and farmhouse in Amroha, where she was sexually abused. When the actress questioned him about the promise of marriage, Uttar Kumar distanced himself and allegedly used casteist abuses.

The complaint read, "Uttar Kumar raped her after a party on the success of the film in 2023. Uttar Kumar blackmailed her. He also promised to marry her and gave her lead roles in films. She was lured into having sex without consent."

Parmeet Singh, the lawyer handling the case on behalf of the victim, said, "This is a serious matter. The female artist has come forward with courage and raised her voice. We are demanding justice through law." He has demanded the police to complete the investigation and arrest the accused (Uttar Kumar) as soon as possible.

In the complaint, the female artist wrote, "I am deeply hurt by the incidents and am mentally broken. I delayed reporting due to fear and Uttar Kumar's influence in the industry." The female artist has also demanded security in her complaint. She wrote, "Steps should be taken to ensure my safety and protection, as I fear for my life and career." At present, no official statement has come from actor Uttar Kumar regarding this entire incident.
