Hema Malini furious over fake news of Dharmendra’s death, calls it “unforgivable”

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Senior Hindi cinema actor Dharmendra Deol is admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to ill health, where he is being treated under the supervision of doctors.

Reports of the actor's death have been surfacing on social media, but Esha Deol has denied them. She stated that Dharmendra's health is stable. Now, Hema Malini has expressed grief over the news of his death, calling it disrespectful and irresponsible.

Hema Malini expressed her anger over reports of Dharmendra's death on social media platforms. She tweeted, "What's happening is inexcusable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a man who is undergoing treatment and recovering? This is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please respect the family and their need for privacy."

Users are also advising to drag those who acted irresponsibly on Hema's post to court.

One user wrote, "Imagine, his entire family is there in the hospital supporting him and then outside they have to explain the news of his death. How shameful."

Earlier, Esha Deol shared her father's health update with fans. She wrote on Instagram, "The media is being overly active on this issue and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering well. I request everyone to respect our family's privacy. Please pray for Papa's speedy recovery."

It's worth noting that many prominent politicians and Bollywood stars confirmed the news of his death and paid tribute on social media. However, Dharmendra is completely fine and recovering well. The news sparked an outpouring of joy among the actor's fans.

Dharmendra Deol is 89 years old and is battling age-related ailments. Last week, he was brought to the hospital for a routine checkup. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan also visited the actor last Monday, after which news of his death spread like wildfire on social media.
