I do only those Projects which I like: Shabbir Ahluwalia

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Actor Shabbir Ahluwalia believes that one should focus on doing good work and not try to be seen on screen all the time. He said that he accepts only those projects which he likes. He says that in the race to remain relevant, people often become irrelevant.
Speaking to news agency IANS, Shabbir said, "I believe in doing good work. In trying to stay relevant, people often lose their relevance. This can happen in any field. People think 'I have to be seen' or 'I have to work with this person,' but I don't believe in this thinking."
He further added, “I trust my faith. I do what I like, in my own way and at my own pace. Whenever I do a project, I try to give the best in it and in myself.”
Shabbir started his career in the year 1999 with the TV show 'Hip Hip Hurray'. But, he got real recognition from popular TV shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat', 'Kahin To Milenge', 'Kavyanjali', 'Kasam Se', 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' and 'Qayamat'.
Shabbir has also worked in films. He was seen in a strong role in 'Shootout at Lokhandwala' released in 2007. He has also been a part of the action-thriller 'Mission Istanbul' released in 2008.
Shabbir's latest project is Sony SAB's romantic-comedy show 'Uff... Yeh Love Hai Mushkil'. He is paired opposite Ashi Singh in the lead role in the show. The show is a fun love story about Carrie (Ashi Singh) raising her three siblings and her banter with Yug Sinha (Shabir), a lawyer who doesn't trust women, turns into love.
