Tragedy in Punjabi Music: Singer Rajvir Jawanda Passes Away After Road Accident

Punjab (The Uttam Hindu): The Punjabi music world is in mourning after the tragic demise of popular singer Rajvir Jawanda, who passed away after battling for his life for nearly 10 days at Fortis Hospital, Mohali.

According to reports, Rajvir met with a horrific road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on the morning of September 27. He was riding his bike from Baddi towards Shimla when the accident occurred, leaving him with severe head and spinal injuries.

Immediately after the crash, Rajvir was taken to a nearby civil hospital, where he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest. His condition deteriorated, prompting doctors to shift him to Fortis Hospital in Mohali for advanced treatment. Despite continuous medical efforts, the singer could not recover and breathed his last today, leaving his fans and fellow artists heartbroken.

Rajvir Jawanda was known for his powerful voice and hit songs that defined a new wave in Punjabi music. His untimely death has sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry, with fans flooding social media to express their grief and pay tribute.
