Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda critical after road accident, on ventilator support

Mohali (The Uttam Hindu): Renowned Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda, who was seriously injured in a road accident in Pinjore, Haryana remains in critical condition. He has been on advanced life support at Fortis Hospital in Mohali since Saturday. Doctors say there has been no significant change in his condition and the next 24 hours are crucial.
Doctors at Fortis Hospital stated that Jawanda remains in the same critical condition as when he was brought in after the accident. However, his blood pressure is stable. A team of doctors is continuously monitoring his health.
According to reports, Rajveer Jawanda was out for a motorcycle ride with four friends. Near Pinjore, a stray animal suddenly came in front of their bike causing the bike to lose balance and fall onto the road. He suffered serious head injuries in the accident. It is reported that he also suffered a cardiac arrest before being taken to a Mohali hospital.
As news of the accident spread, Punjab's political and entertainment circles were filled with grief. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Leader of the Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa wished Jawanda a speedy recovery.
Additionally, several prominent figures from the Punjabi industry visited the hospital to inquire about her well-being. These included singers Kanwar Grewal, Gippy Grewal, Mankirt Aulakh, Kulwinder Billa, Jass Bajwa, R Net, Surjeet Khan and actor Karamjeet Anmol. Superstar Diljit Dosanjh posted prayers for Jawanda on social media and singer Indrajit Nikku also released a video praying for her speedy recovery.
