Makers showed Ranveer Singh the way out of Don 3; here’s the real reason

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking news has come out for the fans of actor Ranveer Singh who are flying on cloud nine after the bumper success of the film 'Dhurandhar'. Till now it was being discussed that Ranveer Singh himself has left 'Don 3', but the inside story is telling something else. According to the latest reports, Ranveer has not walked out of the film, rather the makers have shown him the way out of the project due to being fed up with his 'unreasonable demands'. According to the report of India Today, the decision to leave the film was not Ranveer's, but of the production house.
Sources say the matter is entirely about "creative differences" and unfair terms between the makers and the actor. Sources say that when Ranveer's last three films flopped at the box office and a veteran like Sanjay Leela Bhansali shelved "Baiju Bawra," it was Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani who had faith in him. Farhan chose Ranveer to play the role of "Don," which had been played by legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, which was a dream come true for any actor. But now the makers' removal from the film indicates that all was not well behind the scenes.
Previously, media reports had suggested that Ranveer Singh had become more career-conscious after the superhit success of "Dhoom 3" and didn't want to play gangster roles back-to-back. It was also being suggested that he preferred working with directors like Bhansali, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Atlee, and that this was why he left "Don 3." However, new reports have debunked this narrative. Currently, the much-awaited Farhan Akhtar-directed film is facing a crisis, and a search for a new face to play "Don" has begun. No official statement has yet been issued by Ranveer Singh or Excel Entertainment regarding this controversy.
