Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Veteran Bollywood actor Raza Murad has lodged a police complaint at Mumbai’s Amboli Police Station after false rumors of his death went viral on social media. The actor revealed that the fake post about his demise not only disturbed him but also caused severe mental stress to his family and fans.

Clarifying the truth, Raza Murad said, “I am alive and completely healthy. It is very unfortunate that some people spread such baseless news without thinking. I am tired of repeatedly clarifying that I am alive. This is not only troubling me but also my family and admirers across the world.”

The actor expressed frustration, adding that his phone hasn’t stopped ringing since the fake post circulated. He termed the rumors “shameful” and questioned the mentality of those who spread such fake news just for cheap popularity. According to police officials, based on his complaint, a case has been registered against unidentified individuals. The Cyber Cell has been roped in to trace the origin of the viral post.
