Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu) : The investigation into the firing incident at the home of renowned film director Rohit Shetty in Mumbai is continuing, and the Mumbai Crime Branch is uncovering significant clues. The Crime Branch has now revealed that the shooters were given a substantial sum of money through an ATM to carry out the attack, and the funding came from neighboring Nepal. The Mumbai Crime Branch has intensified its investigation to confirm the funding.


The firing incident at film director Rohit Shetty's house has now begun to take the shape of an international conspiracy. An investigation by the Mumbai Crime Branch has revealed that the money given to the shooters who carried out the firing was deposited directly into bank accounts, using cash transactions through ATMs. The investigation revealed that the money was deposited into the accused's accounts by an unknown person, whose bank details the police are trying to investigate. The Mumbai Crime Branch is gathering evidence to determine where the money came from and who sent it. According to the Crime Branch, this transaction has been linked to Nepal. The accused arrested from Agra were receiving funding from Nepal.


For further investigation, the police have sent official letters to the relevant banks, requesting detailed account statements, transaction histories, and information about the individuals who deposited the money. The police suspect that external terrorist forces may be involved in the case, orchestrating such incidents at their behest.


The Crime Branch is making every effort to obtain the account details as quickly as possible, as this could reveal the mastermind behind the conspiracy. Investigating agencies believe the investigation is reaching a turning point, and major and important revelations in this shooting case could emerge in the coming days.


It's worth noting that some attackers suddenly opened fire at Rohit Shetty's Juhu bungalow. Fortunately, no one was injured. Police have arrested 12 accused in the case, including those from various locations in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana.
