New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Punjabi singer Karan Aujla’s upcoming concert in Pune has landed in controversy following chaos at his recent Delhi show. The performance, scheduled at Mahalaxmi Lawns in Khardi under the ‘P Pop Culture India Tour 2026’, is now under scrutiny after a complaint was filed raising concerns about the content of his songs. Acting on the complaint, local authorities have directed the police to take necessary action, stating that some of the songs may negatively influence minors.

The complaint alleged that several of Aujla’s popular tracks promote alcohol, drugs and gun culture, and also portray disrespect toward women. It expressed concern that allowing young children to attend such events could adversely impact their mental development. The issue has reportedly been escalated to district officials, with references made to previous objections raised before a state women’s commission regarding certain songs.

The controversy has intensified after reports of violence during Aujla’s Delhi concert, where clashes broke out among attendees in a VVIP section. Videos circulating online show scuffles and disorder, with some concertgoers leaving the venue amid the commotion. In light of these developments, authorities in Pune have been instructed to ensure strict monitoring and maintain law and order during the scheduled event.
