The actress shared some photos of the engagement ceremony on Instagram. In the photos, Adrija and Vigunesh are seen lost in each other. Adrija Roy is wearing a red Kanchivaram saree. She has applied minimal makeup to keep her look traditional and simple. Vigunesh, on the other hand, looks handsome in a blue kurta and white dhoti. Only family members and close relatives attended their engagement. Adrija wrote in her post, "I am now engaged to the love I prayed for. What started as a simple 'hello' has blossomed into a sacred bond. My heart feels at peace. I love you so much, my love."

She began her acting career with the Bengali TV serial "Bedini Moluar Kotha." She then transitioned to Hindi television. After working in "Imli" and "Kundali Bhagya," she now plays Rahi in "Anupamaa."
