Singer Yasir Desai’s Deadly Climb on Bandra-Worli Sea Link Goes Viral — Police Take Action

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu) : Mumbai’s Bandra Police have registered a case against popular singer and lyricist Yasir Desai after a video of him standing on the railing of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link during a song shoot went viral on social media. The incident, which raised serious public safety concerns, has prompted legal action under sections 285, 281, and 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
In the viral clip, Yasir is seen dangerously perched on the sea link's railing—an act that not only violated safety norms but also posed a potential risk to other commuters. It also remains unclear which music project was being filmed during the shoot on the sea link.

The song has been composed in collaboration with Amol Srivastava and Abhishek Talented, with lyrics penned by Kunal Verma and Abhishek Talented. It features actors Parth Samthaan and Divya Agarwal and is directed by Raju Khan.
Yasir Desai, known for hits like Makhna, Drive, Dil Ko Karaar Aaya, Sukoon, and Jogi, made his playback debut in 2016 with Beimaan Love, lending his voice to tracks Main Adhura and Mere Peeche Hindustan Hai alongside Akanksha Sharma and Sukriti Kakar.
