Tragedy in Haryana: CRPF Jawan on Leave Shot Dead After Being Lured Out of Home

Sonipat (The Uttam Hindu): Unknown assailants shot dead a CRPF Jawan late on Sunday night in Khedi Damkan village of Gohana. The assailants took him out of the house and shot him. When the family members reached the spot after hearing the gunshot, they found the Jawan in a bloody condition. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
CRPF jawan killed in Haryana, called from home and shot; had come on a month's leave: The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Krishna. He was posted in Chhattisgarh and had come home on a month's leave. The deceased was the father of two children. A child was born in the family just three days ago.
Police investigation has revealed that recently Krishna had gone to Haridwar for Kanwar Yatra, where he had a dispute with some youths. It is suspected that this incident happened due to the same rivalry. Police has started investigating the case and four teams have been formed to search for the killers. The body has been sent for postmortem.
