Delhi-Haryana NCR crackdown: 25 gangster hideouts raided, 380 cops involved
New Delhi/Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): In the early morning, Delhi Police conducted simultaneous raids at 25 hideouts of gangsters and their henchmen in the entire NCR including Delhi and Haryana. About 380 policemen along with 25 teams were involved in this operation.
Raids on 25 hideouts of gangsters in entire NCR including Delhi-Haryana, 380 policemen engaged in the operation: During the raid, the police have recovered many luxury vehicles like Mercedes and Audi. Apart from this, huge amount of cash, expensive watches and illegal weapons have also been found. According to initial information, the police have recovered cash worth more than Rs 40 lakh.
Police says that this action has been taken to break the financial backbone of gangsters active in Delhi-NCR and to destroy their network. At present, the search operation is going on and the cases related to the recovery are being investigated.
