Former Sarpanch Paraded with Shaved Head in Sonipat; Arrested in Youth Murder Case

Sonipat (The Uttam Hindu): In a shocking incident from Kharkhoda, Sonipat, a former sarpanch accused of murder was publicly humiliated by being paraded with a shaved head. The accused, identified as Ramvilas, was arrested for the murder of a young man named Ajay. The murder reportedly took place over a dispute involving an industrial plant in Pipli village.

According to reports, Ajay was returning home from the gym a few days ago when he was attacked near a school by a group of men traveling in two vehicles. The attackers, armed with sticks and rods, brutally assaulted him, leading to his death due to severe injuries.

Police launched an investigation and arrested the accused former sarpanch, Ramvilas. In a controversial move, police made him shave his head, handcuffed him, and paraded him through the streets on foot.

Earlier, a group of armed men had attacked former sarpanch Ramnivas’s residence in Pipli village, firing shots and injuring several people with sticks and rods. During the attack, Naveen, a resident of Pipli, was shot and injured, while his brother Sonu also sustained wounds.

Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
