Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij injured after fall at home, both legs fractured

Ambala (The Uttam Hindu): Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij fell at his residence on Monday, fracturing both his legs. Doctors have advised him to rest. Despite the injury, Vij continued humming "Chal Ri Sajani Ab Kya Soche...". The Haryana Assembly session is scheduled to begin on February 20. Vij, who always makes headlines for his attitude and outspoken statements, may not be seen in the House this time.

Based on doctors' advice, it's believed he won't be able to attend the session. Supporters are currently praying for his speedy recovery, while Vij himself has made it clear that his spirits are still high. Vij has never been absent from assembly sessions.

It should be noted that during a recent meeting of the District Grievance Redressal Committee in Kaithal, a heated debate took place between Minister Anil Vij and Superintendent of Police Upasana regarding the suspension of ASI Sandeep. Vij ordered the immediate suspension, but the Superintendent of Police denied his authority to suspend the Kurukshetra employee. The Transport Minister expressed his displeasure and insisted on his position. The meeting also discussed other police investigations and corruption cases, on which Vij directed action.
