Stray dogs maul Karnal child: 8-year-old boy left injured, locals demand action

Karnal (The Uttam Hindu): A serious case of terror caused by stray dogs has come to light in Karnal, Haryana. An innocent child playing outside the house was suddenly attacked by a pack of stray dogs and was badly injured by biting him. According to the information received, on Wednesday, three-four dogs surrounded the child playing outside the house in Karnal, pounced on him and bit him badly on many parts of the body. Due to this sudden attack, the child could not control himself and fell on the ground. The dogs kept biting him continuously, due to which he got badly injured. Hearing the child's screams, the people nearby ran to the spot and somehow saved the child's life by chasing away the dogs.

The family immediately rushed the injured child to the hospital, where doctors provided first aid. Deep wounds were found on the child's body, requiring eight stitches. The child's condition is currently stable, but he is mentally traumatized. The injured child, Rajdaksha, explained that he was at home at the time of the incident and was not feeling well. He had asked his mother for permission to play outside. His mother was sitting outside in the sun. While playing, the child wandered to the other side of the road when suddenly three or four stray dogs attacked him. Following this incident, panic gripped the entire area. Locals are afraid to send their children outside. People have demanded that the Municipal Corporation and the administration take immediate action to address the stray dog ​​problem to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
