Three Bishop Cotton School Students in Shimla Missing After Mall Road Shopping Trip

Shimla (The Uttam Hindu): Three students of Bishop Cotton School (BCS), Shimla, one of the prestigious boarding schools of the country, mysteriously went missing on Saturday. These three students had gone to Mall Road for shopping on 'Outing Day', but did not return to school. The school administration and the family are deeply worried due to the young age of the students and no clue being found till late night.

3 students of the famous Bishop Cotton School of the capital Shimla missing, they had gone to Mall Road for shopping: The missing students are of class 6 and are said to be residents of Karnal (Haryana), Mohali (Punjab) and Kullu (Himachal). Other students had also gone with the children, but they all returned on time. The police have started a search operation to find the children. Especially the vehicles going to Shoghi and its surrounding areas are being thoroughly checked. Looking at the seriousness of the matter, Shimla Police has also contacted Delhi and Haryana Police.

SSP Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi said that different teams have been formed to search for the children and all possible routes, hotels, public places and bus stands are being monitored. He said, "There is a possibility that the children may have lost their way, but the possibility of kidnapping cannot be ruled out. We are investigating from every angle.

The BCS school management has submitted a formal complaint about the missing children to the police. The families of the children have also been informed. Till late night, there was no trace of the children. This matter has worried not only the school administration but also the people of the city. The police is constantly trying to find the children safely and send them to their families as soon as possible.
